Even Tronstad Sagebakken
Even Tronstad Sagebakken (born 1977) is State Secretary for the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, a role he assumed on 17 November 2023. He is responsible for aquaculture and maritime policy, and is particularly concerned with strengthening coastal communities and facilitating the further development of the marine industries. Sagebakken has a background as a teacher and principal, and was previously mayor of Lindesnes Municipality from 2019 to 2023. He is deputy leader of the Agder Labour Party and a member of the party's national executive. In April 2025, he presented the government's new aquaculture report, Report to the Parliament 24 (2024–2025).
