
Helene Langehaug
Helene R. Langehaug is an oceanographer. She received her PhD in physical oceanography from the University of Bergen in 2011, while employed at the Nansen Center. Her research background is in ocean circulation and water masses in the North Atlantic and the Arctic Mediterranean. She is particularly interested in variability and mechanisms in the ocean and to what extent this is represented in global climate models and climate forecasting.
