Hilde Sindre
Hilde Sindre is a senior researcher at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute, where she leads important projects in fish health and biosecurity. She is project manager for, among others, WaterSafe, which develops standardized tools for biosecurity through surveillance and water disinfection, and ILA-SAFE, which explores virus development and control in hatchery facilities. She is also an appointed OIE expert for salmonid alphavirus (pancreas disease) and has led research on the transition from non-virulent to virulent disease in fish, as well as measures for infection surveillance and cleaning techniques.
