Silje Beite Loken
Silje Beite Løken works in the Norwegian embassy in Iceland as an adviser. She also works as a Culture and Information Officer at the Norwegian Embassy, and is a translator and publishing consultant as a freelancer. Before this, she was dictionary editor - ISLEX at the University of Bergen (UiB), and part-time Icelandic teacher at the University of Oslo (UiO). Silje Beite Løken started her career as a journalist. She studied translation at Háskóli Íslands, and majored in Nordic language and literature at UiO.
