Ottavia Benedicenti
Ottavia Benedicenti has been a researcher at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute since August 2022, with expertise in aquatic biosecurity, fish immunology, pathology, molecular biology, parasitology, and bioinformatics. She holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Aberdeen, where she wrote a thesis on amoebic gill disease in Atlantic salmon. Here postdoctoral research was completed in CISA (Spain) and the University of New Mexico (USA).
