
Trond Waldemar Rosten
Trond W. Rosten works as Group Manager for Freshwater and Closed Production Technology in Mowi's global research and development department (R&D). He has a solid background from NTNU as a fish physiologist and since 1987 has been active in various roles within production, research and consultancy. His experience spans renowned institutions such as the Akva Institute, KPMG Center for Fisheries and Aquaculture, the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA), and Sintef Fisheries and Aquaculture. Since 2017, Rosten has been at the forefront of Mowi's work on semi-closed systems for post-smolt and has led the company's strategy for the application of recycling technology. He also holds the role of chairman of CtrlAqua, a research-based innovation center for recirculating aquaculture (RAS) and semi-closed systems, a collaboration supported by the Research Council and industrial partners.
