Emission control and expectations for future emission management

Torbjørn Munkejord Pedersen, senior advisor at Norconsult, shares experiences from work with emission control on both new and established fish farming facilities. Pedersen points out large differences in requirements and permits between facilities, and that in the future there will probably be a greater degree of standardization and closer supervision. For existing facilities, he emphasizes the importance of logging operating data and having a close dialogue with your own treatment plant in order to identify deviations, improve operations and implement the right measures.
