Welfare effects of thermal treatment on salmon and rainbow trout

In this Bluetalk, Jonatan Nilsson provides an insight into acute behavioral responses in salmon and trout during thermal treatment, with results from, among others, the Welfare Severity and AvlusÒrret projects. While salmon's tolerance to hot water is well documented, he now also presents new findings about rainbow trout's tolerance to hot water.
